FIND THE ARMY OF THE DEAD TIMELINE EXPLANATION ON NETFLIX!
Army of the Dead will be available on Netflix soon! If you want to know all about its timeline, read on! Army of the Dead sees a team of mercenaries, led by Scott Ward, complete a dangerous mission in Las Vegas, teeming with zombies. Following a heist gone awry, Ward and his allies will be caught up in a battle with the hordes. To survive the zombified humans, they will need to call on teamwork and an arsenal of weapons to kill the creatures, which seem more fearsome than the traditionally slow and brainless zombies.
The world set in Snyder’s Army of the Dead story is already confirmed to appear in more than one movie. It will also be the subject of a prequel titled Army of Thieves and an animated series called Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas, which will be a spin-off of the first movie.
WHAT TIMELINE FOR ARMY OF THE DEAD WITH THE FUTURE SPIN-OFF?
According to Zack Snyder, the origin of Army of the Dead’s unique zombies will be explored in the movie’s opening scene. So it seems unlikely that the Netflix movie will dwell on this mystery before moving on. However, the origin of the Area 51 virus will be discussed later. It should be at the heart of the story of Army of the Dead: Lost Vegas, which will take place during the early days of the zombie apocalypse.
Presumably, the series will explore the lives of the characters who were there when it all started. Many characters from the main cast of Army of the Dead, such as Bautista’s Ward, Ella Purnell’s Kate Ward, Omari Hardwick’s Vanderohe, and Ana de la Reguera Cruz, also feature in the prequel animated series.
Fans should not anticipate the movie taking place in the days following the outbreak. Indeed, the main plot of Army of the Dead revolves around what happens six years after the zombie outbreak was first contained in Las Vegas, where walls kept zombies out while the rest of the world returned to some semblance of normalcy. The characters return to normal life but end up being drawn to where it all began.
