The wait is not very long for comic book fans! The Jupiter’s Legacy Season 1 release date has been set for May 5, 2021, on Netflix! WHO ARE THE ACTORS?
Jupiter’s Legacy stars Josh Duhamel, Ben Daniels, Leslie Bibb, Mike Wade, and Matt Lanter in a team of overpowered humans known as The Union. 90 years after its formation, the team imploded as the next generation, played by Elena Kampouris, Andrew Horton, and others, chose different directions.
The series will primarily follow the first five issues of Millar and Quitely’s Jupiter’s Legacy saga where two brothers’ ideals clash over what superheroes should do with their powers. The fallout from this conflict is falling on their children, who have so far refused to take over.
WHAT CAN WE EXPECT FROM THE SERIES?
Jupiter’s Legacy takes place on two different timelines, the first of which is in the late 1920s. At the start of the Great Depression, Sheldon Sampson, his brother Walter, and their classmates charter a boat to an island that ‘he constantly sees in his dreams.
Lucky for them, the mysterious island is right where Sheldon said it would be. And they all returned to the mainland in 1933 with unimaginable powers. The other timeline unfolds in this day and age, and Sheldon, now known as the superhero Utopian. He is the leader of a group of heroes called the Union that protects Earth from the threats and villains that appeared after the original journey.
