When it comes to the MCU, launch date changes are legion. It also affects the series, since Tom Hiddleston reveals that Loki season 1 has been brought forward by two days. It will arrive on Wednesday, June 9 at Disney +.
As the interpreter of the God of Malice explains to us, Wednesday is the new Friday. The streaming platform is testing to find out when is the best day to launch a series, moving further away from the model Netflix set up a few years ago.
As a reminder, this first season of Loki will take place after the events of Avengers: Endgame. The plot then takes place in 2012 in an alternate reality created by the Avengers’ Time Heist, after Loki escaped with the Tesseract he wanted to use to change the course of human history. After his escape, he was taken to the Time Variance Authority (or TVA), an organization that acts to prevent anyone who tries to tamper with the past or the future.
