Money Heist is gearing up for its latest heist, with the fifth and final season hitting Netflix this year. More specifically, the platform announced that this final season will be released in two ‘volumes’, the first going live on September 3 and the second on December 3, 2021.
Created by Alex Pina, Money Heist follows a mysterious man, nicknamed Professor, who plans the best heist ever. To carry out his plan, he recruits eight of the best criminals in Spain who have nothing to lose.
In season 5, the gang has been locked in the Bank of Spain for over 100 hours. The robbers managed to save Lisbon, but they are about to live out their darkest hours after losing one of their own. The Professor has been captured by Sierra and, for the first time, he doesn’t know how to escape.
