As announced a month ago, season 3 of Mr. Inbetween is also the very last of the series. The end is therefore near since the broadcast begins tonight on the American cable channel FX.
If you’re not familiar with this Australian-American co-production created by Scott Ryan, Mr. Inbetween is a dark comedy that tells us about Ray Shoesmith (Ryan), a hitman who navigates a violent world because of his job, which he counterbalances by attempting to nurture friendships, fulfill his parenting responsibilities, and make a new romance work.
In Season 3, Ray has to deal with the loss of his brother, how to deal with his aging father, and the fact that his daughter may find out the whole truth about him. On the professional side, Ray is now a freelance. He feels isolated after ending his relationship with Freddy, but there is no shortage of work. He will also meet a new colleague and a tragedy will cause him to question his career choices.
In terms of the cast, Scott Ryan is surrounded in this season 3 of Mr. Inbetween by Kenny Graham, Chika Yasumura, Damon Herriman, Jeremy Sims, and Emily Barclay.
