With Jupiter’s Legacy just starting, Netflix isn’t short of superheroes, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be more. Indeed, the Spanish series The Neighbor (or El Vecino in its original version) will return on May 21 on the streaming platform.
First of all, if you are not familiar with this series based on the comic book by Santiago García and Pepo Pérez, The Neighbor takes us into the life of Jose Ramon, a journalist who accidentally ran into an alien who gave him powers. Now he calls himself Titan, but that doesn’t make him more responsible. Javier’s life is chaotic and he refuses to become an adult. With Jose’s help, however, he will begin to change as he discovers his limits and decides to fight crime, which is no small feat.
In season 2, as Javier believes he has finally mastered what it takes to be Earth’s superhero, a daunting new challenge emerges, coming from an unexpected competitor and alien visitors.
In the cast of The Neighbor, we find Adrián Pino and Quim Gutierrez in the leading roles. They are accompanied by Clara Lago, Catalina Sopelana, Jorge Sanz, Adrián Pino and Sergio Momo, but also Gracia Olayo, Fran Perea and Javier Botet.
