SUMMARY OF EPISODE 8 OF SEASON 2 OF WHO KILLED SARA

After Episode 7 ends with Alex and Nicandro discovering a videotape hidden in Sara’s bedroom, the eighth and final episode of Season 2 shows us what was on that tape. The tape shows footage from a stormy night when Sara was still alive and sees her alone at home as she receives a visit from Abel Martinez, who was revealed to be Sara’s father earlier in the film. season 2 after raping Sara’s mother, Lucia.

Abel has come to Sara to ask her for money and he threatens to rape and kill her if she doesn’t do as he asks. Instead, she manages to escape upstairs and call Rodolfo for help. As Alex and Nicandro watch the tape, they are joined by Elisa, Alex’s girlfriend, as well as Marifer, who posed as an anonymous character called Diana the Hunter.

The flashback returns, and Abel tells Sara to shut up as Cesar enters the house. Cesar has no choice but to shoot Abel as he is preparing to stab Sara outside as a result of this. But that changes everything in history. Marifer knows that the Lazcano family and Sara are not involved in her mother’s disappearance. Episode 8 of Season 2 of Who Killed Sara brings twists and turns.

Marifer stares at the film, tears streaming down her cheeks, unable to accept Sara is her sister and that the Lazcano is unrelated to her mother’s abduction. Marifer then informs Sara that she is alone and hasn’t seen her father in two weeks in a flashback to Valle. Marifer catches her and explains that she knows she’s crazy and that she knows all her secrets. She tells him to live her life and get on a parachute before having a baby because she will always be alone.

Meanwhile, Elroy is about to cut the parachute rope, but Nicandro arrives, so he drops the knife. Sara picks up the knife as well, but Nicandro diverts her attention, and Marifer continues to spy.

THE END OF THE LAZCANO FAMILY EMPIRE

The episode continues by showing Marifer reuniting with young Clara, who has set up a date with Mariana Lazcano. Mariana threatens Marifer during the meeting, which leads the first to draw a gun and a fight ensues between Marifer and Clara. The weapon falls to the ground and goes off, killing Clara in the process.

The next scene shows Mariana returning home, panicked by the alcohol. As she realizes that the Lazcano family empire is on the verge of collapse. Meanwhile, José Maria Lazcano goes to the police and admits to killing Moncho and, surprisingly, Abel Martinez, although it was Rodolfo who killed Abel. It appears to be an attempt to prevent further problems from arising for him or his family.

Meanwhile, flashbacks show Sara hiding the camcorder tape “Abel” in the sculpture in her bedroom. In the present, Alex grabs Elisa and warns her that the building is collapsing with flames. Marifer arrives and tells Alex and Elisa that she killed Sara. She looks at Elisa and explains that Mariana told Sara to parachute before her pregnancy started to manifest itself.

Marifer runs after Alex as the building burns around them. She wants him to forgive her and that Sara would have wanted him to choose her. This angers Elisa, who pushes Marifer to the ground-she knows that she is Alex’s true partner. One of the burning ceilings falls on Marifer as she tells Elisa that she is going to kill her. We can assume that Marifer is dead. However, we wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t. Alex lifts Elisa to safety but is now trapped in the flames. He uses what he learned in prison to escape.

EXPLANATION OF THE END OF SEASON 2 OF WHO KILLED SARA

The season 2 ending of Who Killed Sara shows Nincandro rummaging through files. He looks at a picture, and on the back, it says “Dr. Alanis, the doctor in charge of Sara Guzman”. The man then looks at a photo of Sara, and it says on the back: “S.G-the first patient in the project”. He calls Dr. Alanis and tells him that he sent him the money, as his father had promised. He is grateful to the doctor for not telling Alex the truth about Sara. The latter is ecstatic that Marifer is the murderer, and she wants Alex to believe it. He makes it clear that no one can know the truth, neither the Lazcano family nor Alex.

It is revealed that Nicandro and a certain Dr. Alanis are responsible for Sara’s death. Although Marifer appears to be the killer, it is revealed in the last scene of Episode 8 that she may not have been responsible for Sara’s death. It’s unclear exactly how Nicandro and this doctor killed Sara, but it seems to have to do with the time she spent in some sort of mental institution, where she was the first patient in a mysterious project.
