Since its debut on TBS in 2018, the Final Space anime by Alan Rogers and David Sacks has provided plenty of laughs as well as tension throughout its two completed seasons. The third season aired every Saturday until the end of the two-part season in June, and fans are already eagerly awaiting the rest of the series, including the fates of our protagonists Gary Goodspeed and Mooncake and the mystery of the final space.
The series has acquired a passionate and dedicated fan base, in large part due to its excellent animation and mix of comedy and more serious moments, as well as an outstanding vocal cast that includes the talents of David Tennant, Tom Kenny, Conan O’Brien, Ron Perlman and many more. WHAT RELEASE DATE FOR SEASON 4 OF FINAL SPACE?
The third season aired from March to June 2021 with 13 21-minute episodes! Currently, no renewal announcements have been made for Season 4 of Final Space! However, in 2018, Olan Rogers claimed he was set to helm the anime for at least six seasons and even thought about how the series would end.
Fans had to wait around 18 months for the third installment. However, we believe that producing a new season won’t take as long this time around, as the production teams have found a way to work remotely. Therefore, if it is renewed soon, the release date of Season 4 of Final Space is expected to be set in the summer of 2022.
WHAT CAN WE EXPECT FROM THE FOLLOWING?
In the third season, Gary and his team enter Final Space to save Quinn, only to find they have been trapped inside. Invictus and Lord Commander also pose a threat to Mooncake and Little Cato. With the lives of the entire team at stake, they must find a way to survive.
If there is a Final Space Season 4, we’ll see what the future holds for Team Squad, especially now that they’ve experienced Final Space and know a bit more. On the other hand, they might seek revenge on Invictus and Lord Commander after what they endured because of them. Either way, we know Team Squad will never be the same again.
