After defeating Kitaniji with the help of Shiki, Bitou, and Raimu, Neku discovers that Yoshiya is the Composer, who has engaged in a game against Kitaniji to decide Shibuya’s fate. Yoshiya is revealed to be the one who killed Neku so that the latter would help him win the game and indeed play a central role in the impending destruction of Shibuya.
