As Loki’s first season comes to a close with episode 6 this week, Disney + is announcing that the adventure won’t end there. A season 2 has indeed been officially ordered.
This announcement was made using an image inserted in the end credits of this first season of Loki, which does not give many clues as to how long it will take to discover season 2. Disney + will certainly communicate on this subject shortly. So that gives you time to update yourself on Season 1 if you wish.
If you are not familiar with Loki, the series stars Tom Hiddleston as the famous God of Mischief (Marvel version) and takes place after the events of Avengers: Endgame. The story is set in 2012 in an alternate reality created by the Avengers’ Time Heist after Loki escaped with the Tesseract he wanted to use to change the course of human history. After his escape, he was taken to the Time Variance Authority (or TVA), an organization that acts to prevent anyone who tries to tamper with the past or the future.
Loki Season 1 has 6 episodes and stars Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Owen Wilson (Mobius M. Mobius), Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Ravonna Lexus Renslayer), Wunmi Mosaku (Hunter B-15), Sophia Di Martino, Richard E. Grant, Sasha Lane, and Erika Coleman.
