While American Nightmare 6 has yet to receive the green light from producer Blumhouse or Studio Universal, if it does get the green light, the past lineup gives a rough idea of when it will arrive in theaters. So far, all five films have been released during the summer, June, or July. Logically, that means fans should expect a hypothetical release date for American Nightmare 6 in the summer of 2023.

Blumhouse Productions and Universal Pictures have a vested interest in continuing the franchise. To date, all four movies in the series have grossed $ 458 million at the global box office. Considering that the largest budget for these movies was $ 13 million, they were extremely profitable. As such, if there is a way to continue the series, it’s easy to see why the studio would.
