It’s the year 1994, and a serial murderer is on the loose. In fact, several killers, all of which are undead manifestations of a witch who died in 1666 and now attacks a teenage girl for “disturbing her grave,” if you can call it a resting place.
They’re after Sam and won’t stop until she’s dead. But it’s not going to work for Deena, his ex-girlfriend, now somewhat back together. His brother Josh and his friends Kate and Simon team up to bring down the witch.
After an unsuccessful attempt to lure the killers with Sam’s blood and detonate them, the teens realize they have to raise the stakes. Sam is ready to sacrifice himself until they learn of the existence of C. Berman, the lone survivor of a previous serial killer attack in 1978.
EXPLANATION OF THE END OF FEAR STREET PART 1: 1994!
Part 1 of The End of Fear Street takes us to the Shadyside grocery store in 1994. After learning that Sam must die and then be revived to defeat the Witch’s Curse, Kate prepares a cocktail that will stop her heart and gives Deena the materials to bring her back. But everything goes into a spin instantly.
The killers show up. In this film, Kate is slain in the most horrible way conceivable. She dives into a bread slicer, thanks to the Skeleton Man. Simon receives an ax in the dome and dies. Deena drowns Sam in the lobster tank, arrests the serial killers, then revives Sam. Deena, Sam, and Josh survive the onslaught despite the death and damage. They beat the witch!
But, just when you think Deena, Sam, and Josh have truly defeated the witch, C. Berman calls Deena’s place. She tells him it’s not really over. Immediately, Sam is possessed by the witch and stabs Deena. Luckily, Deena manages to tie Sam up with the phone wire, but she is still possessed by the witch.
Now Deena and Josh have to find a solution, and from the post-credits scene, it looks like C. Berman, It’s possible that the person who phoned Deena had anything to do with it. We already know that the sequel will reveal what happened at Camp Nightwing in 1978 and how C Berman managed to escape.
