Iggy’s plot didn’t come to a straightforward conclusion either, although it was a much more awkward foray into the bipartisan gun control issue. Iggy was tasked with determining whether a legal gun owner was sane enough to maintain possession of his gun after pointing it at his wife.
This man, Brendan, was sort of a conservative cliché and bluntly accused Iggy of being a “hard-line liberal,” which he sure is, but that kind of simplistic portrayal luckily didn’t permeate the bottom of it. the story. All the levity of the New Amsterdam Season 2 finale came from Vijay and unwanted sexual attention from a patient’s wife. As he insisted she was cheating on him, no one seemed to think it was likely. “Matter of Seconds” even backtracked, finally revealing that she had a tumor pressing into the pleasure center of her brain.
But all was not so dark for Vijay, as a chance meeting with Karen Brantley in the elevator led to an exchange of numbers and an offer of drinks. Maybe Vijay is still sexually viable after all. While the New Amsterdam Season 2 ending wasn’t the grand finale people were expecting and left a lot of storylines hanging, it seems the series made the most of impossible circumstances.
