Not one, not two, not three, but four series have just been canceled by Netflix. The streaming service, therefore, made it official that Bonding, The Country-Sitter, The Crew, and Mr. Iglesias would not have any new episodes.
Launched less than 4 months ago on the platform, The country-sitter (from her original title Country Comfort) invited us to follow Bailey (Katharine McPhee), a young country singer who finally finds the group she was looking for when ‘She gets hired as a babysitter for Beau (Eddie Cibrian), a hardened cowboy, and his five children.
Posted in February, The Crew marked the short return of Kevin James, three years after Kevin Can Wait on CBS. He played the chief mechanic of a NASCAR garage at the time. As his owner decides to ease off and hand it over to his daughter, he will find himself confronted with tech-savvy young recruits the heiress hired to modernize the team.
Netflix also announced that classes are over for Mr. Iglesias after two seasons (for a total of three games). Launched in June 2019, this comedy invited us to follow Gabriel Iglesias in the shoes of a high school teacher who teaches talented young people who do not find their place in the system. He wants to help them not to be pushed out and to realize their full potential.
Finally, the black comedy Bonding (available since April 2019) will also not have a season 3, Tiff (Zoe Liven) and Pete (Brendan Scannell) will not have any new clients. This pair of friends had a nighttime career, with Tiff as a dominatrix and Pete his assistant.
