WHAT TO REMEMBER FROM THE PREVIOUS EPISODE?
There’s always a huge disconnect in the relationship between our titular characters, with Hooch not doing as he’s told. It’s a good thing that the pooch is making great strides in business because without it it would be a failure.
We’re finally seeing some coordination amongst them, but can we take a moment to chat about the walkie-talkie scene? If this part had been better handled, the case of the week would have been better received. There has to be some level of realism, and the show missed the mark here.
It’s great to see Turner and Hooch collaborating on an ambitious proposal, but at the very least make it plausible. Teamwork makes the dream work! Jessica and Xavier deserved more than just sitting around waiting to be captured. They are both excellent detectives, but other than making fun of Scott, what could they really do?
