WHERE IS THE CHICAGO MED SERIES FILMED?
Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago P.D. are filmed on set at Cinespace Chicago Film Studios. For Chicago Fire, the exterior of the police station is the former Maxwell Street Police Station in Chicago, located at 943 West Maxwell Street. For Chicago Med, this takes place in the fictional Gaffney Medical Center in Chicago. Chicago Med is shot at Rush University Medical Center, located at 1653 West Congress Parkway. The building is present in the series, not only for the exterior scenes but also for some interior shots.
Graceland Cemetery, located at 4001 North Clark Street, is part of the series at a funeral ceremony. The cemetery is known to be the resting place of some famous public figures, architects, and inventors.
