Formerly programmed by Chiller (cable channel of the NBCUniversal group), the Slasher anthology was saved from cancellation by Shudder, the horror streaming service owned by AMC. Two years after the third, Season 4 finally arrives, starting today with two episodes to launch, then one per week.
What is Slasher Season 4 about?
The creation of Aaron Martin, Slasher is an anthology that offers an independent, complete story by season. Since season 3, Ian Carpenter has replaced Martin in the role of showrunner and he, therefore, scripted season 4 which is also subtitled Slasher: Flesh & Blood.
The plot revolves around a wealthy, dysfunctional family who reunites on a remote island. There, they learn that they will have to oppose each other in a cruel game of life and death in which the winner will come away with all of the family fortunes. The situation quickly escalates when a masked serial killer aims. Nothing is what it seems and no one is immune. The tension then rises as quickly as the number of corpses.
