WHAT RELEASE DATE FOR THE CHAIR SEASON 2?
The first season was released in full on August 20. Currently, no renewal announcements have been made for The Chair Season 2. For now, it is likely that the popularity of the series and the number of viewers are being assessed, which will determine whether or not a subsequent season will be made.
The good news for fans of the series is that the first season leaves plenty of openings for possible subsequent seasons by creating multi-level characters who share complex relationships. The fates of many characters, including Bill’s, are also left hanging in the Season 1 finale, suggesting that the series may continue.
If the green light is given soon, and if there is no major delay in production, the release date for Season 2 of The Chair is expected to be set between mid to late 2022.
WHAT CAN WE EXPECT FROM THE FOLLOWING?
Season 1 ends with Ji-Yoon’s realization that the lawsuit against Bill is a sham and that protesting college students will not be happy with the symbolic changes made to appease them.
The Chair season 2 can see the development of a relationship between Ji-Yoon and Bill, which is so far hampered by the fact that the former was the boss of the latter. We’ll also find out if Bill returns to his job at Pembroke or if he needs to look for teaching positions elsewhere. Joan will take matters into his own hands as the new head of the English department, and we’ll likely get more antics from Ji-Yoon’s daughter, Ju Hee.
