FIND OUT WHAT ANIMAL IS VIVO IN THE LATEST NETFLIX MOVIE!
Vivo is available on Netflix! If you want to know which animal is the hero, read on! Vivo, the animated adventure from Netflix, has a funny origin story. Lin-Manuel Miranda originally offered the film to DreamWorks in 2010, before the Hamilton era.
The project landed at Sony Animation, where it was sped up and fine-tuned with High School Musical screenwriter Peter Barsocchini. Scheduled for a theatrical release in 2020, Vivo was ultimately pushed back to 2021 and then sold to Netflix, where it is finally available to stream.
Director Kirk DeMicco created Vivo, which features music by Miranda and his longtime partner Alex Lacamorien. When the film draws on the music and the love story behind it, it shines and evokes poignant emotions. But when directors try to squeeze animal antics into it, it falls into the all-too-familiar traps of the most cliché animated films for children. We tell you all about the animal that Vivo represents.
WHAT SPECIES OF ANIMALS IS THE HERO?
Kinkajous, sometimes known as honey bears, are endemic to the more tropical temperatures of Central and South America’s jungles and are related to raccoons. They are recognized by their round heads, large eyes, and pointed snouts, along with their tails that serve as an additional gripping mechanism for climbing trees.
Living mostly in trees, kinkajous feed on raw fruit and are often mistakenly considered endangered due to their rare sightings and nocturnal habits.
To protect kinkajous from captivity or commerce, a number of non-profit groups have been formed in various locations.
