What is American Crime Story Season 3 about?
Based on the book “A Vast Conspiracy: The Real Story of the Sex Scandal That Nearly Brought Down a President” written by Jeffrey Toobin, American Crime Story: Impeachment will return to the scandal surrounding the Monica Lewinsky affair which led Bill Clinton to face what the Americans call an impeachment procedure, an indictment that could have resulted at the end of his presidential term.
The story will be recounted from the perspectives of the ladies at the center of the scandal: Monica Lewinsky, Linda Tripp, and Paula Jones, and will investigate the growing connection between politicians, the media, and Americans. It will be written by Sarah Burgess.
