TANU & MANAV
By retracing the footsteps of their spouses, Manav and Tanu end up comforting each other. We see that they would make an ideal couple. They also kiss, hinting at the possibility of a romantic relationship between them. However, we learn that things between Natasha and Arjun are over.
Manav, who initially wanted his marriage to fail, eventually forgives Natasha. Meanwhile, Tanu realizes that Arjun only came back to her after Natasha dumped him, and she decides to divorce him.
Ultimately, Tanu and Manav don’t end up together. However, the time they spend together changes their perspective on what they want in life and their relationships. Tanu helps Manav realize that his failure as a businessman does not translate into his marriage. Manav helps Tanu recognize that she has an identity outside of her marriage. Ultimately, Tanu and Manav decide to go their separate ways as friends, and their brief relationship helps them discover self-love.
MANJIRI & NANDU
In the end, Manjiri and Nandu get on separate buses, indicating that they are both taking different directions in life. Before parting ways, Manjiri gives Nandu a handkerchief embroidered by her, while Nandu gives the cookies she loves. This loving moment shows that they cherish the bond they have created.
Manjiri wants to study, while Nandu plans to start his own business one day. Realizing that he can’t give her the life she wants, Nandu decides they have to follow different paths. Instead of comforting each other, they choose the bravest option and decide to pursue their dreams. The bond they have made with each other gives them the courage to do so.
PRADEEP & BET
Finally, he finds Pari in a costume store. He has one last heart-to-heart conversation with Pari. Pradeep tells Pari that he is getting married and is extremely happy. Her loneliness is gone. He thanks Pari for listening. In retrospect, we understand that Pari is an outlet for Pradeep to vent the frustrations of his loneliness.
Pradeep seeks solace from Pari, even though others think he is crazy. The whole story can be taken as a commentary on how people despise relationships they consider taboo.
