EXPLANATION OF THE END OF SEASON 1 OF BANGKOK BREAKING
Further investigating, Kat discovers that the proposed park has been turned into a shady drug trafficking site. The big reveal is that the Ruampalangjai Foundation is trafficking drugs hand in hand with Hardcore, who works for business tycoon Mr. Wat.
Although thwarted by heavy artillery, Kat embarks on a confrontation with Mr. Wat. As she has solid evidence, Mr. Wat cannot deny the allegations. He manages to escape with Kat. Ironically, Wat’s car crashes when his own poorly made “Safe Songkran” billboard malfunctions.
He would die without Wanchai’s honesty and righteousness. Wanchai is considering killing him because he has momentary flashbacks of his brother’s accident, but he’s better than that. He does his duty, and Wat is saved. But one wonders what happens to the central couple in history. Although Kat broke up with Wanchai after surprising him with Pratheep, they got over their communication problem.
Kat will later understand that Wanchai really cares about his safety, and she will also understand how good a person he is. At the end of Bangkok Breaking Season 1, Kat tells Wanchai that she understands him better now, and they kiss. Somsak and the team bless them with open hands as Pisaro, Kat’s other companion, takes their picture. As they remember Jo’s death on the rooftop in the final scene, audiences know that Wanchai and Kat are together through thick and thin.
Jo was the hidden informant, as the ultimate twist reveals. However, when Man saw the text, he got into an argument with Jo. The car swerved off track after losing control. On a motorcycle, Hardcore arrived and escaped with Man, while Pratheep was commanded to carry out the final murder. So, even if it was an accident, Jo’s death was an impeccably handled accident.
