In the last episode of Battle Game in 5 Seconds, Yuuki tells Shin it’s time to die since his neck is on the guillotine. He uses Shrink to try to cut off Shin’s neck, but Haruko arrives and throws Yuuki and they both roll onto the ground. Yuuki becomes enraged and unleashes a knife on Haruko’s chest. Shin jumps up and blocks the knife with his chest.
Shin remembers the day he spent time with his brother, who helped him during his heart surgery. That day Shin’s brother promised him that when Shin was well, they would become partners. But an incident happened the day Shi was released from the hospital. Shin’s brother sacrificed himself and was hit by a car and died instantly.
In the present, Shin realizes that he has something special to protect and unleashes his capacity as a mate which he promises to share with his brother.
Yuuki is surprised to see Diamondhand: Mr. Shin Kumaragi- the ability to become invincible for two seconds. Shin, inside his armored gear, reminds Yuuki that he told her he was going to pay. He breaks Srink and grabs Yuuki to strangle him on the neck while pinning him to the ground. He decided not to kill him but to punish him.
