When Paramount + announced the order for Star Trek: Picard, it was for two seasons. It turns out that Patrick Stewart has decided to go on longer than expected, as a season 3 is now on the schedule. The renewal has just been made official and we also have a trailer for Season 2.
THE RELEASE DATE OF STAR TREK: PICARD SEASON 2 AND 3
It is naturally far too early to discuss Star Trek: Picard season 3, but things are getting clearer for season 2 although it will not arrive until February 2022 – in the Us and France, it is offered by Amazon. Premium Video. and season 3 will be expected on March 2023.
This time, history will take us into the past. It all starts with the return of Q (John de Lancie) who sends Picard (Stewart) into an alternate (and dystopian) reality with his crew. They must then travel in time and return to the 21st century to try to change the future.
In the script, after a first season led by Michael Chabon, Akiva Goldsman and Terry Matalas (12 Monkeys) are in charge, while the cast of this season 2 of Star Trek: Picard brings together Patrick Stewart, Alison Pill, Isa Briones , Evan Evagora, Michelle Hurd, Santiago Cabrera, Jeri Ryan, Orla Brady, John de Lancie, Annie Wersching, and Brent Spiner.
