WHAT CAN WE EXPECT FROM EPISODE 1 OF SEASON 2 OF 86 EIGHTY-SIX?
Knowing that a Legion unit is in front of them and that they will not be able to avoid it, Shinei will face them alone, hoping his team will have enough time to escape. Raiden, Anju, Kurena, and Theo, on the other hand, have no wish to be saved at the cost of Shinei’s life. They all appear to perish in the ensuing battle. Meanwhile, Lena pays a visit to Spearhead’s base, where she discovers the note and the kitten they left for her.
In the post-credits scene, Shinei’s older brother, Shourei, appears in front of him. Shourei holds out his hand and the young Shinei takes it. It is strongly implied that the Legion unit took the decapitated head of Shinei.
In Episode 1 of Season 2, Lena could continue to serve as a dog handler for new members of the Spearhead. Shinei and his comrades are probably not dead and are traveling to the remains of the nation formerly known as the Empire of Giad.
