Despite the open ending of the last episode of the fourth season, Netflix has decided to end its original creation. Audiences weren’t there last year, but the streaming giant agreed to produce a sequel to bring its series to a great end.
Season 5 of On My Block will therefore never see the light of day on Netflix since the American company has officially canceled the series. You should never say never and the cast may be reunited soon.
Just because the streaming giant refused to produce a season 5 doesn’t mean a feature movie isn’t an option! It would be the perfect opportunity to reunite with the characters for the very last time. The movie could thus focus on this mysterious treasure map. In addition, the teen series with a treasure hunt is popular at the moment.
So far there have been no announcements regarding a possible movie, but we believe it is a more than likely option. Netflix is probably waiting to be able to analyze the audiences of the last part to make a final decision. But one thing is certain: there won’t be season 5 of On My Block because the series is over.

Since the fiction is over and there will be no season 5 of On My Block the question does not arise but we can imagine that if Netflix had ordered an additional season, it would have been composed of ten episodes like the previous.

The trailer for season 5 of On My Block will never be uploaded to the social media of the company with the red logo. However, one can always hope that one day Netflix will release a movie teaser.

The release date of season 5 of On My Block will never be revealed by the streaming platform which has decided to put an end to the adventures of our heroes. If it had been produced, it’s a safe bet that Season 5 would have been set for October 2022.
Regarding the possible feature movie, we will have to be very, very patient! It won’t hit our screens for at least two years. First, Netflix will need to analyze the audiences for the latter part of its original creation and then find someone to write the screenplay.
The actors will also have to be on board otherwise the project will never come to fruition. That’s a lot of conditions but we never said it would be easy. We estimate that there is a 50% chance that Netflix will agree to produce a final feature movie.
