EXPLANATION OF THE END OF SWAT SEASON 3
At the end of Season 3 of SWAT, the team searched the neighborhood. They even checked the homeless area and Luca found a young boy surrounded by his parents’ drugs. He took the boy. He handed it over to children’s services and arrested the parents. Luca was doing his job as Lynch discovered something important.
She found out that El Diablo had contacts in the area. His southern distributor lived nearby and El Diablo was most likely going there. The team needed a name and Lynch found it for them. She played a dirty trick on someone’s girlfriend. The girlfriend has revealed secrets and now the team has a name.
The team had just learned of the name when Street and Chris came under heavy fire. El Diablo had joined his friends and, with reinforcements behind him, he was fighting back. The cartel was shooting at the two officers. They called for reinforcements and were left alone until their friends arrived. Chris and Street killed two members each.
They were trapped in an apartment complex with five members blowing their necks, but luckily someone came to rescue them. A stranger opened her door and let the officers hide in her apartment. They hid there until their friends arrived, then they resumed the fight.
Chris had injured El Diablo. She revealed to her team that he was bleeding profusely from a leg injury and that was bound to slow him down. The team then searched the entire apartment complex. They then found El Diablo. He had taken a woman hostage and they were trying to silence him when he started to talk indiscriminately. He said what was going to happen was beyond his control.

The team had a chance and they took it. They killed El Diablo and now they don’t know what he was talking about. He hinted that there was going to be an event. Hicks even feels like it’s not over and that El Diablo’s death may have triggered something they can’t stop.
The team faced a difficult day. Deacon suggested that a fellow officer speaks to the therapist who assisted him, and Hondo tried to work things out with Nichelle. Only Nichelle could not be found. She was not at the center and ignored his calls at first. Luckily she responded when he tried again.
Hondo spoke to Nichelle and he apologized for his behavior earlier. He wanted to do it right and he couldn’t. She said they were at different times in their lives. She didn’t want to get back together if it wasn’t to last and so they had to end it. It was like that, that’s all.
