The Righteous Gemstones is an ensemble series that follows the Gemstones, an obscenely wealthy family who gained fame and fortune through the mega-church that bears their name. The comedy follows all of the issues they face as a family and within their evangelical community as they seek to grow their business.
The Righteous Gemstones was renewed for a season 2 in September 2019. Despite news of the renewal two years ago, the delay in the return of the series has been caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and the production shutdowns that have occurred. are followed in Hollywood.

WHAT IS THE RELEASE DATE FOR THE RIGHTEOUS GEMSTONES SEASON 2?
The first season of The Righteous Gemstones launched in October 2019, with plans for a quick season 2 rotation. There is no official release date yet, but HBO has confirmed that the nine-episode second season will be available to watch on HBO and streaming this winter. We can therefore expect a release date for Season 2 of The Righteous Gemstones for late 2021 or early 2022 on Canal + and OCS!
WHAT CAN WE EXPECT FROM THE FOLLOWING? SPOILERS!
Season 2 of The Righteous Gemstones will resume sometime after the end of the first season, with the Gemstone family adding to their wealth due to the circumstances of the world. Jesse and his son, Gideon, will return from Haiti, and Jesse and Amber’s marriage will be happy and healthy again. Kelvin will have created the Kelvin Gemstone God Squad, a group that trains and prays together while living with Kelvin.
Season 2 of The Righteous Gemstones will explore Eli Gemstone’s past, which will include Junior in a way. The arrival of Junior, in relation to Eli’s current life, will raise some issues. The Gemstone family will also face the problems of Thaniel, a journalist who denounces the hypocrisy of evangelical preachers.
