The first season achieved exceptional audiences late last year. Netflix had directly agreed to produce a season 2 of Alice In Borderland but the health crisis pointed out and greatly delayed filming.
It has only just started, so you can imagine that the release date of season 2 will be in 2022. The series has even made a comeback in the top ten of the most-watched content in the world on Netflix following the success of Squid Game. Subscribers were looking for fiction in the same genre and obviously, Alice In Borderland was a perfect choice.
The streaming platform has therefore announced that season 2 of Alice In Borderland will be released in December 2022. As with The Witcher, we will have to wait two years between the upload of the first two seasons. This will likely be the last eight episodes since the manga that the series is based on will not have a plot long enough to allow for a third party.
