In the Arcane Season 2 teaser, the voices of Caitlyn, Jinx, and Vi can be heard, suggesting that the next chapter of the story may follow the events of the first nine episodes. Additionally, the show’s first season ended on a relatively steep cliffhanger, implying that all the details set out in the first season could be worked out in the future.
Many fans have been impatiently wondering if the series will be renewed for a Season 2 on Netflix, especially after the cliffhanger that Arcane ended on. To everyone’s surprise, Arcane Season 2 has been officially confirmed to be in production.
After the overwhelmingly positive reactions and responses to the Netflix series, it’s no surprise that Arcane has been renewed for a season 2. In a recent interview Ella Purnell, of the Arcane series, shared how she had enjoyed playing the part of Jinx, as she had never played such an interesting villain before.
WHAT RELEASE DATE FOR ARCANE SEASON 2?
Currently, the series is the second most popular series in the world on Netflix. While specific details for Arcane Season 2 were not disclosed, we can expect to see some of the original cast reprising their roles in Season 2, as their voices were present in the teaser announcement.
Although based on the League of Legends video game, the series doesn’t expect audiences to understand the history of the game to watch it. In retrospect, Arcane has been gratifying for fans to watch and connect with the origin stories of their favorite champions. With its visuals, Arcane has brilliantly grabbed audiences and is setting a standard for future animated shows and video game adaptations.
While it is not confirmed when Arcane Season 2 launches, the series is currently in production. We believe a release date of November 2022 should be appropriate for Arcane Season 2!
