EXPLANATION OF THE END OF CHUCKY EPISODE 7
As Chucky Episode 7 draws to a close, a shocking transformation awaits fans. Chucky begins to manipulate Junior’s unstable feelings. The serial killer doll takes advantage of Junior’s newfound resentment towards his father and prompts him to kill Logan. After an argument with Logan where he insults Bree, Junior finally breaks down and hits Logan in the face with the doll. Junior continues to hit Logan’s face with the doll until Logan dies.
At the end of Episode 7 of Chucky, Junior kills Logan and feels no remorse. So, Chucky finally managed to turn one of the teenagers into a killer like him. How this fits into Chucky’s larger plan remains to be seen, but he’s already put the pieces in place. Unlike Jake, Junior goes through with the murder, which underlines his decline after his break-up with Lexy and the death of his mother.
In the final moments of the episode, Devon releases Nica from her confinement. However, at this point, Charles’s spirit takes possession of Nica’s body and presents itself. He takes a taser from Devon’s bag and prepares to attack the teenager.
Episode 7 ends without revealing Devon’s fate. It’s hard to say if they’ll survive, but since Jake and Lexy only face one doll, they can make it out alive. On the other hand, the chances of survival of Devon, who is trapped in the house with Chucky and the dolls, are very low.
Thus, episode 7 ends on a major cliffhanger, keeping the fate of its three main characters a mystery. It seems unlikely that outside help will come to save the teenagers, and they will have to rely on their wits to survive.
