WHAT CAN WE EXPECT FROM THE FOLLOWING? SPOILERS!
In Episode 6, Tanjirou is stabbed by the Ticket Collector while fighting Enmu. Rather than attacking him, the Demon Slayer knocks him out so he can’t intervene and tries to shield him from a lower-rank demon wanting to save his skin.
When Rengoku arrives and instructs him on how to apply the method correctly, the protagonist focuses his breathing on mending his stab wound. However, he has barely recovered when the rank three demons, Akaza, appears. He immediately attacks Tanjirou and attempts to kill him, but the Flame Hashira cuts off his hand with his katana. The demon is barely hampered by the counterattack, and it regenerates immediately.
Akaza is impressed by Rengoku’s inner strength and asks the Demon Slayer to become like him. The Hahira of the Flame refuses to gain the immortality and strength that demons possess, arguing that the fleeting existence of human beings gives meaning to life and should not be viewed as a weakness. The two begin to fight against each other, and it soon becomes apparent that Akaza is far superior in combat to Rengoku, who can barely harm the demon.
The higher-ranked demon continues to argue that human life is short, and with each attack Flame, Hashira’s defeat seems to be approaching very quickly.
