Goosebumps 3: Haunted Halloween is available on Netflix! If you want to know everything about the release of Goosebumps 3, read on! The big-screen adaptation of R.L. Stine’s horror book series, featuring a creepy bespectacled Jack Black, has had two rather successful movies from a budget perspective.
Stine’s book series launched in 1992 and quickly became a favorite among aspiring horror enthusiasts and youth of the 90s. Between 1992 and 1997, the hardworking author published 62 novels in the series. And continued with several other spinoff series. The novels were later adapted into a television series, which debuted in 1995 and ran for four seasons. Without further ado, let’s discover the release of Goosebumps 3: Haunted Halloween, we tell you everything!
WHAT RELEASE DATE FOR GOOSEBUMPS 3?
The rights to the first movie were acquired by Columbia in 2008, but the first movie was not released until 2015. The second movie was given the green light in September 2015 and was released in October 2018, which is a gap of three years.
Given that the last movie is in 2018, 2021 would mark three years, but since production hasn’t even started, the release date of Goosebumps 3: Haunted Halloween should be set for Halloween 2022. Regarding the release date of Goosebumps 3 on Netflix, an arrival for 2025 seems likely given the law that protects movies coming out in theaters.
WHAT CAN WE EXPECT FROM THE FOLLOWING?
In February 2017, the SlappyWorld book series was launched; so far twelve books have been announced and there should be at least fourteen in the full series. In the past, the movies have picked up various parts of Stine’s series, and since the author has a lot of material, they may try to adapt his brand new series for another movie.
If the books are going well, they’ll already have fans instead of relying on the nostalgia factor of the first two movies. The first two movies feature Slappy the puppet from The Night of the Living Puppet, which goes hand in hand with the release of the new books. Slappy is sort of the hallmark of Goosebumps movies. If Goosebumps 3: Haunted Halloween is born, this approach seems the most promising.
