WHAT IS THE RELEASE DATE FOR TICK TICK BOOM 2 ON NETFLIX?
The film was released on November 19, 2021, on Netflix. Currently, Tick Tick Boom has not received any renewal announcements. At a time when the musical genre is undergoing constant renewal, critics have loved every minute of this extravagant outpouring of life, from acting and setting design to choreography and directing.
The entire star-studded cast stole the hearts of audiences as they brought this biographical drama to life. Critics also praised the liveliness of Andrew Garfield’s performance in the lead role. The star shone as Jonathan Larson, demonstrating remarkable honesty in each of his roles. There could be no polarities.
However, the musical is not a genre known for spin-offs and sequels. Also, considering the end of the film, the story has no way to move forward. As the final moments bring to mind Larson’s tragic death, audiences feel that the film was not made to see Tick Tick Boom 2.
Even if the director chooses Larson’s “Rent” as his next project, it won’t be a sequel to Tick Tick Boom to speak of. In addition, it is not known if and when Miranda will return behind the camera as the maestro is always more comfortable playing, singing, and composing. While we can expect to see more projects completed, it is highly unlikely that Tick, Tick… Boom 2 will ever be completed.
i realy think they need a number 2 it would be a sham if they dont
