‘Dexter: New Blood,’ the sequel to the original ‘Dexter‘ series, is set a decade later. The titular serial killer is depicted as a happy man who lives in Iron Lake, New York. His life in Miami is a distant memory since he drove his boat into the hurricane, and he hasn’t killed anyone.
In episode 6, titled ‘Too Many Tuna Sandwiches,’ Angela confronts Dexter about what she discovered about him, prompting the latter to only reveal partial truths about himself. Dexter suspects Molly of informing Angela about him later. While following her, he discovers Kurt Caldwell is a serial killer and stops him from killing Molly. Meanwhile, Angela visits the caves, believing Kurt has murdered his son and buried his body, but instead discovers the remains of her friend Iris. During a wrestling match, Harrison is riled up by Kurt and breaks his opponent’s arm. Dexter: New Blood Episode 7 spoilers
Dexter is likely to head towards the caves after receiving Angela’s call in episode 7, titled ‘Skin of Her Teeth,’ and meet up with her and Teddy there. When Dexter arrives, Angela will most likely still be reeling from her discoveries, dealing with her grief and pain. To find the people responsible for her best friend’s death, she might take the help of Dexter Morgan, Miami Metro’s best CSI.
Later, Dexter will speak with Kurt about the latter’s growing influence on Harrison. He may reveal his true persona to Harrison and the others, and if Kurt refuses to back down, he may threaten him with dire consequences. Meanwhile, Angel Batista could return in ‘New Blood,’ potentially leading to a fatal confrontation between him and Dexter. In the next episode, Kurt’s motivations for concealing the truth about his child’s death will almost certainly be revealed.
