The final chapter, Shuron Hakke, reveals Kaidou’s true powers in his dranken form. The chapter begins in the Capital of Flowers, where citizens are still enjoying the festival even though it will soon be over. Children and their families wrote their wishes on paper lanterns and delivered them to their forefathers.
Meanwhile, on the rooftop of Onigashima Castle, Luffy and Kaidou come to a halt, and Luffy wonders why Kaidou has assumed human form. However, he noticed Kaidou’s desire to consume alcohol. Luffy chastises Kaidou for drinking while they fight.
He asks Kaidou, and Kaidou tells him that to have fun, he must drink. Kaidou reminds Luffy of the “Festival of Fire.” The latter is enraged because he is aware that brats have ruined a large banquet in Onigashima. Luffy confronts Kaidou and tells him that if he loses, he can’t pretend he was drunk. Kaidou mocks Luffy and balances himself with his Kanabo.
Even when he’s drunk, Kaidou tells Luffy that he’s not weak. Luffy attacks Kaidou with the right arm of a giant ball. Kaidou realizes he hasn’t had a 1v1 fight in a long time. He used the Shuron Hakke: Sake Dragon Bagua to avoid Luffy’s attacks. Kaidou transforms into a hybrid and attacks Luffy with the Drunken Style.
