The story is about a group of elite high school Gen Z students who come together as a group, and it was written by a slew of talented screenwriters, with José Miguel Nez at the helm. They intend to win the music competition at their school. The appearance of the hazing group The Lodge, however, heightens the drama. Cris Morena’s Argentine telenovela “Rebelde Way” inspired the cult Mexican drama rebooted from the series.
Netflix appears to have capitalized on the nostalgia surrounding the first series with this series. However, history is being rewritten to make it more acceptable to today’s generation.
