It was a beautifully crafted story, action-packed and poignant, deserving of a series finale!
Even the smallest details, such as Clarissa’s heroism, helped to complete the picture. The Expanse subtly demonstrated that her endocrine system was on the verge of collapsing if she continued to use her glandular enhancements, then saved the day by cranking the ship’s engine under pressure without using those powers.
It may not appear to be much in the grand scheme of things, but the extra effort put in to complete Clarissa’s redemption was greatly appreciated. Read on to find out if there will be a Season 7 of The Expanse.
WHEN WILL SEASON 7 OF THE EXPANSE BE RELEASED?
The Expanse Season 6 concluded on January 14, 2022! We have some information about Season 7 of The Expanse. The series was announced to end with its sixth season, which means that the sci-fi drama’s plot essentially concluded with the season 6 finale.
However, during a press event in early December 2020, the authors of the books Abraham and Franck made it clear that they do not see the sixth episode as a conclusion, but rather as “a very natural point of pause for history.”
Season 6 of the sci-fi series will be released on November 24, 2020, according to Amazon Studios. The studio has not stated why The Expanse was canceled, but many speculate that it was due to the series’ high budget, which the studio could not sustain beyond the sixth season.
Amazon appears to be very clear about how many seasons the show can host. As a result, Season 7 of The Expanse is highly unlikely to be produced. Still, we’re not giving up hope just yet, because the show has already survived cancellation. So it’s not out of the question that the series will find a new home elsewhere or that the plot will be continued in some other form, perhaps with a feature film or two.
