It’s easy to sell Titane to any cinephile: it’s a midnight movie with dark humor, an amalgamation of all-important genre movies, a sexy and weird ride where structural carpets don’t. ask only to remain intact and to be dismantled to the same extent. None of this is wrong, exactly.
Julia Ducournau’s second feature movie is an all-out blast, silly, tight, and twisted enough, with a sound design that allows audiences to breathe after every crackle. But what makes Ducournau’s Palme d’Or winner so special is that it’s never quite the movie you expect of him. He opts, again and again, for the richest, the most perverse, the most beautiful path.
It is not at a disadvantage for you to know the plot of the movie before you see it, but it can certainly mislead you. The events, as they are presented on paper, offer a different emotional arc than that contained in the work itself, completely avoiding the peculiarities that Ducournau’s camera portrays.

WHAT IS THE RELEASE DATE FOR TITANE ON NETFLIX?
Titane was released on July 14, 2021, at the cinema. Currently, no release date has been revealed regarding the release of Titane . French law prevents movies released in theaters from being shown on streaming platforms within 3 years of their release.
The release date of Titane on Netflix should therefore be set for July 2024 at the earliest. As to whether Titane will be available on Netflix or another streaming platform, we cannot yet know!
WHAT CAN WE EXPECT FROM THE MOVIE?
The official synopsis for Titane tells us this: A man claiming to be a kid who went missing more than 10 years ago is reunited with his father, a life-unstable former firefighter. It is brought back by customs inspectors to an airport; however, his arrival coincides with a series of unexplained crimes in the region.
