This video is fantastic in two ways: we always enjoy Giancarlo discussing his character, but there’s also something more here. We’re also glad to see Jonathan Banks as the interviewer; because the actor isn’t very active on social media and doesn’t do many televised interviews, many people may mistake him for his character, Mike Ehrmantraut. We have a strong suspicion that this is not the case based on what we’ve seen so far. (Who would have guessed Banks had such a lively laugh?)
We have a good idea of where Gus and Mike’s journeys will lead in this final season, but we’d like to believe there’s still room for nuance and surprises. We’re hoping the writers provide that, as well as some long-awaited answers about Jimmy and Kim.
