EXPLANATION OF JUJUTSU KAISEN’S END
After Jujutsu Kaisen 0, a massive battle between Suguru’s disciples and the ranks of Jujutsu wizards takes place. This clash takes place in Tokyo on December 24, and both sides are cursed in various ways. The fates of Yuta, Rika, and the entire world are at stake.
Suguru wishes to seize control of Rika and use her strength to further his mission of establishing wizard dominance in the world. Each of Yuta’s classmates makes an unsuccessful attempt to stop him. Suguru is defeated only when Yuta successfully kisses Rika and harnesses her power.
Suguru and his old friend Satoru share a moment as Yuta finally comprehends the mystery of Rika’s curse. He then decides to stay at Jujutsu Tech with Panda, Maki, and Toge to learn more about the disturbing world of curses.
In the most shocking twist of Jujutsu Kaisen 0, it is revealed that Yuta has cursed Rika with his lineage’s hidden magical energy. He is a descendant of one of the ancient wizards of Jujutsu, and his DNA is imbued with incredible strength.
Yuta’s intense emotions manifested this magic when Rika was critically injured in a car accident and appeared to be on the verge of death. He cursed her, transforming her into a spectral being who is inextricably linked to him. Following their confrontation with Suguru, Yuta and Rika come to terms with their situation and form a symbiotic relationship.
HOW ARE SEASONS 2 & 3 SET UP BY JUJUTSU KAISEN’S POST-CREDITS SCENE?
After Yuta defeats Suguru Geto, a post-credits scene transports us to Africa, where Okkotsu reunites with his old nemesis, Miguel. Gojo appears with a message that appears to indicate that Yuta should return to school. This point is critical because unlike the rest of the prequel, the post-credits scene does not take place in the past. What occurs here has a direct impact on the series’ future, establishing Okkotsu’s role in the second and possibly third seasons.
You thought this was the final time we’d see Yuta? Rejoice slowly. Okkotsu’s entrance into the main series of Jujutsu Kaisen will not be all sunshine and roses. Yuta first appears in the manga following the Shibuya Incident arc, which fans believe will take up the majority of the second season. This is unfortunate for Itadori because Yuta is here to assassinate our hero.
Without giving too much away, Itadori is directly responsible for the deaths of numerous characters in this story, including several of his closest friends. Thus, when the franchise’s two protagonists finally meet, there will be considerable tension.
Gojo may even explain Yuta’s new mission in the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 post-credits scene, but we don’t know if that will happen in the second season. Additionally, it is possible that the prequel’s conclusion will not occur until Season 3.
