For those who are unaware, The Blacklist season 9 will continue to feature a slew of fantastic episodes! There are 22 episodes in total for this season, which means there is plenty of room for some exciting twists and turns.
With that said, there are also concerns about how the schedule will work out. Are we going to get additional episodes for the remainder of the season?
One thing to keep in mind is that anything is subject to change at any time. We wouldn’t be surprised if we are forced to wait until June, but it does feel as though the entire season will end on Friday, May 27. It could even conclude on May 20, before the conclusion of sweeps, if producers decide to give us a two-hour block along the way.
Given that March Madness is nearing its conclusion and the Olympics have concluded, there is no compelling reason for a long hiatus. The only way this could happen is if the product requires additional time to complete everything.
At the very least, we can rejoice in the fact that NBC has already renewed the show for a tenth season. That makes it easier to enjoy the remainder of the season without worrying about what happens to Reddington or any of the other characters.
