Better Call Saul season 6 has already seen the demise of one fantastic character, and the odds are that there will be plenty more fantastic material in the future.
This season of the AMC show has been planned as a series of emotional moments and shocking twists, which may come as a surprise to some. Simply keep in mind that this is a prequel! In theory, we should be able to map out a good deal of this, but Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould do an excellent job of keeping us guessing.
If we believe the man behind Lalo, Tony Dalton, at the moment, it also appears as though the best is yet to come.
Dalton attempts to hype up the road to the series finale in a new interview with Variety, noting that certain scripts had him giddy from the moment he read them:
“Regardless of what they believe will occur, people have no idea… I believe that people will adore it. This is the final season, and they’ve pulled out all the stops. It’s all in; let’s set fire to the house. Literally. They simply made certain that no stone remained unturned.
I read several episodes that made me jump up and down in my new home in Albuquerque. It’s extremely exciting to see how everything plays out. One thing is to read it; another is to film it.”
Is it possible for Lalo to die? Maybe. We believe there is likely one more major character who will perish — at this point, all we can hope for is that it is not Kim.
Keeping her alive is one of the final things we hope the show accomplishes; that way, she can have a future with Jimmy.
