What can you expect or hope for in terms of a Billion season 7 premiere date following this weekend’s big finale? Is the show truly returning?
To begin, let us assuage your concerns about whether or not the Showtime drama will be renewed: It will! There is no reason to be concerned, as the renewal was announced quite some time ago. It demonstrates the network’s commitment to the story of Chuck Rhoades and those around him, even after such a dramatic transition at the end of season 6 with Damian Lewis’ departure from this world.
With that in mind, the next order of business is determining when the show will return — and we believe there is a bit more mystery there. The break between seasons 5 and 6 was unusually brief, but this is largely due to the global health crisis, which delayed the second half of season 5.
