Get Everything you need to know about Blue Bloods season 12 episode 20!
CBS released a first look promo for Blue Bloods season 12 episode 20 late last night, and one thing was clear: This one is going to be intense!
We are aware that action sequences are not always a staple of this show, but you will see a few unfold during “Silver Linings.” Joe Hill will return during this hour, Erin will face a difficult situation, and a number of characters will likely deal with significant changes in the larger NYPD world.
Typically, this show does something significant in their season finales, even if they do not end on a cliffhanger. Consider when Jamie and Eddie became engaged or when the characters married. Or when we first saw Joe Hill revealed.
We had arguably the show’s biggest story in years last season, in the form of a two-hour arc that connected a number of the cases.
Unfortunately, CBS did not release an extended promo for the finale, despite the fact that we’re fairly certain that everyone would have preferred it.
After all, for the time being, all they’ve given us is a series of tiny clips. They do that with the majority of their previews these days and include some wise words from Frank.
If you’re wondering why episode 20 is the finale rather than episode 22, it’s because we’re still not completely out of the woods in terms of the global health crisis.
Productions continue to take longer than they used to, and it’s unclear whether we’ll ever see a show like this return to the 22-episode model.
