But first and foremost, we should discuss where “The Griffith Technique” stands in the season. This is the season’s penultimate story before the emotional season finale. There are still a lot of stories to be told in these final episodes, so the writers will have to work fast!
Remember, there’s no guarantee that a season 2 will happen, and for the time being, we’re betting against it. The ratings have simply not been there for the past ten or so episodes, despite the presence of some familiar faces on the cast.

On the CBS Original series GOOD SAM, Wednesday, April 27 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Tv Channel, and available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+*, Lex confronts Griff about his betrayal, and Malcolm sets his sights on his mother’s board seat.
Whatever happens at the end of the season, it’s clear that the remaining two episodes have a lot of Griff material to mine. We can learn more about why he thinks and acts the way he does, as well as the dynamic that will exist between him and Sam in the future. There is much to be excited about and/or concerned about.
