WHAT IS THE NETFLIX RELEASE DATE FOR GRACE AND FRANKIE SEASON 8?
On April 29, 2022, the seventh season concluded. On September 4, 2019, the series was renewed for a seventh and final season.
Kauffman revealed in January 2020 that the series’ conclusion was not entirely a creative decision, but a result of several factors. The primary reason for this is that Netflix has ceased producing long-running series.
While the co-creator of the series was disappointed, she felt the decision was justified. Nevertheless, Kauffman asserts that there is no ill will between the streaming giant and the creators of the popular comedy series. As a result, Season 8 of Grace and Frankie has been officially canceled.
Having said that, Grace and Frankie have established a standard for all Netflix original series.
With 94 episodes, it has become the streamer’s longest-running series. Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin, the show’s stars, expressed their delight and heartbreak at the news of the series’ conclusion.
They expressed gratitude, however, for the series’ ability to shed light on the issues that have divided generations. Additionally, the award-winning actors stated that they will miss their on-screen characters as much as fans will, but will remain present.
