Killing Eve season 4 episode 8 will air on BBC America in just over 24 hours, and it’s safe to say that emotions will be at an all-time high.
While this show has its share of amusing moments, we can’t help but be concerned about a high level of tragedy lurking around the corner. We believe Eve and Villanelle both have a good chance of dying at the end of it all, and that’s without even mentioning Carolyn. These are people who are willing to go to any length to defeat The Twelve, and as admirable as that may be, they must all be aware of the consequences. There is a dangerous reality that they must all confront, and we are preparing for a confrontation unlike any other through this episode.
Here’s what executive producer Sally Woodward Gentle had to say about how the show might be wrapping things up in a new interview with Entertainment Weekly:
“Always be ready. It’s a roller coaster of emotions. We’re hoping to give Killing Eve a proper ending after four seasons. “An operatic conclusion.”
From what I’ve read, it doesn’t appear that the show planned this to create spin-offs or anything else. From the beginning, the goal was to ensure that viewers received a strong, satisfying conclusion that tied up loose ends. Let’s hope it delivers in terms of the final product.
