Get Everything you need to know about Moon Knight season 1 episode 3!
Is it possible to be any more excited than we already are as we approach Moon Knight season 1 episode 3? We’ve already seen an abundance of exciting twists in just two episodes, and some of the best may very well be yet to come!
When we get to episode 3, we already know that Steven Grant will be sidelined, at least temporarily. Marc Spector has assumed control, fully aware of the stakes in the face of Arthur’s pursuit. He is completely at the mercy of Khonsu, at least for the time being, as he realizes that relinquishing his avatar role may require Layla to take it on instead. We know very little about Arthur, but we already understand that sacrifice is obviously very important to him.
We’re guessing Egypt will be the primary setting for the next episode, as we’ll continue to see Oscar Isaac and Ethan Hawke’s characters engage in a cat-and-mouse game. Arthur is far from the prototypical Marvel villain, but his larger purpose is becoming clear. He wishes to raise the goddess Amit, which could very well be a disaster, as she operates almost identically to the character in Minority Report, eliminating potential evil before it occurs and thus completely destroying the concept of free will or choice. Simply because someone appears to be evil does not make them so.
We just hope that somewhere along the way, we get another chance to see Mr. Knight in here. While we are aware that the show is remixing some comic-book material, they have done an incredible job of capturing the essence of what can be a fairly difficult character to grasp. Moon Knight is one of the most complex heroes in the MCU, and we appreciate that this show is allowing him to stand on his own for the time being. There will be plenty of time for SO much more in the future.
