After all, look at what’s been put in place so far! The possibility that Ronnie Raymond is still alive is a fascinating and bizarre concept, especially since we’re all left to wonder whether or not this is true. Is Caitlin being set up by the Black Flame, who is taking advantage of her grief? Is there any scientific evidence that Ronnie is still alive in some shape or form?
We’re confident that this episode will provide more details on everything; we’ve known for a while that Robbie Amell would be returning, but the details were unclear. Caitlin is convinced she can help her late husband, and she is willing to go it alone to make sure it happens, as shown in the trailer below.
Our main concern at this point is that this Flame is attempting to tear the entire team apart in various ways, and in doing so using the concept of grief as a tool. Because we’re still in the middle of the season, it seems premature to predict that we’ll get definitive answers anytime soon, though that could be the case if we’re building up to some sort of super-specific Big Bad at the end of it all.
Those of you who want Danielle Panabaker to get some great material, however, it appears that you’ll be getting it for at least the foreseeable future.
